Pros
R&D division paid overtime fee. Especially if you're new to industry, this would give you great incentive to work hard (like 24h a day).
Cons
You would realize salary didn't increase so much at some point. You might be annoyed by Japanese way of rating people - years of service -. Although this is not probably happening only at Fujitsu, I didn't feel HR was trying to figure something out.
