Pros

Account specific management is great and in tune with the needs of the employees that support the account. In the past 6 months there has been an active attempt to breathe fresh perspective into the larger account teams with very intelligent and good leaders. Given the recent mass exodus there are a lot of roles available for those who want a challenge. This could be a huge opportunity for someone who wants to get involved in the renaissance of a company under new leadership.

Cons

Pay is below area averages, raises are significantly below inflation and industry averages, there is not a great amount of effort or time put into goals and performance management. There is little to no opportunity for training or conferences in the budgets. Management continues to demand employees seek certifications and training but on their own dollar and time. Senior management refuses to be customer facing unless absolutely forced to and allows the mid-managers to get beaten up on by the client only to deliver the news to deaf ears. They also have not taken client concerns seriously until it has reached the boiling point and there are serious issues noted. Again, this is the corporate management and not the account team management.

Pros

Most of the people in my department were very friendly, helpful, and the middle management was great, very flexible with work life balance

Cons

Horrible pay, they do not compensate people who have been loyal to the company for years. Someone with 3 years of experience at Fujitsu America could easily be making 10k more elsewhere. Also, the executives pick favorites and only favor towards them and their departments. Bonuses are not available to all unless you are one of the "favorites." Very political, catty, and unfair to lower level employees. Also, the facility is disgustingly dirty, dated, and could be redesigned. No opportunities for employee engagements or socials at all. It's especially frustrating when FNC on the other side of the campus gets a half day off, t-shirts, and a celebration for Fujitsu Day, and all Fujitsu America gets is a speech from the CEO about how we need to improve and work harder. Real inspiring.... IT help desk is miserably slow, as well as getting anything approved or done there. Patience is a virtue when working at Fujitsu America. No opportunity for advancement.

Pros

Can't think of any pros anymore working at Fujitsu

Cons

The company has lost direction. People in management positions have no real management training and use the 'like/dislike' approach with staff. No career direction other than do your job! Performance reviews are a joke and not related to remuneration. No work/life balance. It's not how well you do your job, rather who likes you and how far you are prepared to pander to untrained managers egos.
