Pros

My manager was genuinely the most caring, supportive guy I’ve ever met. He cared so much about his staff and always went above and beyond for us. Decent pay for what I was doing. Lovely team. Work from home. Well-being hour given weekly. Good employee benefits. Good pension.

Cons

The post office scandal means nobody in the U.K. trusts the business anymore. The onboarding is an absolute mess. Outside of my direct manager, the SLT are cliquey and difficult. On a whole, the role is paid less than industry standard. Due to the team I was on, progression was only obtainable via someone leaving, retiring or dying which isn’t great.
