Pros

FNC has a solid talent base with a good balance of new and old ideas. The company is trying very hard to improve its culture and foster innovation. Old barriers of outdated processes and silos are slowly being broken down. Its an exciting time at the company and many new projects and next generation products are being developed.

Cons

The company is still struggling with changing old habits. Management needs some fresh blood and some organizational decisions need to be re-evaluated (similar to many other companies). Its difficult to move up in the organization and opportunities for climbing the ladder are few. The cafeteria food needs improvement.

Pros

FNC has an excellent new grad hire training and acclimation program where you are paired with experienced engineers for training and recent grads for comfort. I was paired with a great mentor. As a new grad at FNC you have an opportunity to influence the direction of the organization through direct interaction with managers, directors, and VPs. On the play side of work there is fuzzball, ping pong, basket ball, and volley ball games through out the week.

Cons

I have no real complaints.
