So much Dead wood

Pros

Some handful of good technical engineers in managed servvices to work with.

Cons

So much dead wood in the team being lobbed on hardworking employees. Every team has more than 80% of employees who have CBF attitude, 9 to 5 govt office style attitude, killing time while at work is the new KPI, making excuses to work from home and zero productivity stangly they are given raise every year for some reason and all flexibility options are given to them because they give some fake medical certificates and family execuse. Sadly its team lead and managers are encouraging these kind of bad culture fully knowing those dead wood individuals in the team, as they have no interest in doing good work for the team, interest is only to move up the chain as fast as possible. every TL and manager wants to be a CEO of fujitsu in just few years, thats mental bankruptcy we see. In the team suckers are given raise every year at expense of hard working employees. HR is a joke, dont bother talk about them they all got fired last year. This year more rounds on the way be prepared to jettison the sinking ship. Fujitsu has amassed lot of dead beats and junk employees who are working on cutting edge solution and industry, sadly dragging everything down with them giving Fujitsu a bad name. Surprises me to see those individuals working on exactly the same thing like host patching forever and system check list since last 5 years and they dont seem to mind it as long as they can use their personal mobile to facebook all day or surf internet or work from home few days a week. Management cant be oblivious to these kind of BS employees putting load on some hard working talented few in the team.

Pros

Working with some of the most talented engineers in the industry. It really is the quality of people of keeps you coming back some times.

Cons

Process, process, process. It's killing innovation and the ability to get the job done and the biggest problem is, the customers are noticing. You are losing great engineers due to internal politics, workplace bullying and paying less than market rates. Employee satisfaction surveys, they are claimed to be anonymous but are linked to your log in via unique email sent to each employee. Make it truly anonymous and you will get the truth you supposedly desire because at the moment, no one believes in the process and that it is a token gesture. Too slow to meet market demands such as cloud services.
