Pros

You will adopt the proper business etiquette and as a Japanese company, proper discipline was implemented.

Cons

The salary here is not not competitive compared to other IT companies. Also, in the development team, you need to render much OT due to the project needs.

Pros

Job is very stable as a full time employee. Can see the business side of IT industry very well from inside the company. Provides basic training. 20-day annual leave.

Cons

Salary is not competitive. Poor management and leadership. Many seniors are reluctant to new technology. Little diversity; Extent of authority is proportional to seniority. ( Traditional Japanese companies tend to have this cultural thing about the correlation between age and authority.) Little free time, people who work time 200 hrs and above per month are common. Not much promotion for technical positions.
