Pros

Good company and core global values. Regular feedback from management. Internal socialization is quite positive.

Cons

Lags behind on technology unless there is a customer requirement. Limited capability for advancement once you reach a certain technical level (unless you go into management).

Pros

Good Managed Services Teams with dumbest ever Professional Services Teams. Fujitsu Australia (not NZ) have some of the brightest and hardest working Managed Services Engineers. A very good company to learn and move out. Also, a good company to retire.

Cons

Work like mouse and ask for a peanut pay, you will be OK. Old Kaz-Group Management in power, they had a ship wreck while managing Kaz, got sold off to Fujitsu. Strangely, Kaz Group Mgt took over the power. If not replaced, the company might be heading for a second ship wreck. Already lost some major accounts this year to IBM. Also, the Project (Professional) Services Teams' Architects and Engineers are a bit of joke, majority of PS team members are funitures, waiting for their retirement or wasting time. Weired environment, where MS teams are more technically saavy and brighter than the PS old farts. As stated, if you are a PS Engineer, go to another integrator.

Fujitsu Response

Thanks for the feedback, and I am sorry that you feel that way. I am not aware of the precise situation where you are, but as a whole Fujitsu is growing fast and positively - especially in EMEIA, South America and in Asia. This is on the back of some excellent leadership (it is why I joined the business!), outstanding customer service (it is why customers want to work with us), and great employee benefits (it is why we are able to retain the talent we have). We have a "Values-driven" culture, driven from the top, and at the moment are in the middle of rolling out a "Value of the Month" initiative (this month is "Integrity"!). In the UK, we have also just been awarded "Responsible Business of the Year" by the external organisation, "Business in the Community" - we must be doing something right!
