      Pros

      Work with really smart people, and get a wide array of clients within the Federal government. With Federal clients not that much travel. I also really enjoyed the management team and was able to help build the practice.

      Cons

      Would be better if Gartner Analysts and Consultants worked closer together. Consultants often get ignored by the Analysts, but some are great. Also, most Gartner consulting work is not that technical.

      Pros

      Positive work environment with good management. Loved the emphasis on weekly 1 on 1 meetings with managers, and the autonomy to drive my own performance results.

      Cons

      Opportunity to grow was limited though the company purports personal growth and development. Many people in roles for 10 years or more. Analysts drive the business, so if you are not an analyst, you are in more of a support role.
