Working in the world leader company in its domain provides a great opportunity to work with leading edge clients on the most up to date issues that determine their success. This is very interesting and fulfilling. the culture fosters collaboration and mutual assistance, and overall the colleagues are great.. The company is very well managed, overall.

Cons

Being a large, fast growing global company it is very process oriented, emphasizing the need to follow global best practices and processes - sometimes at the expense of limited flexibility to accommodate local needs.

Gartner invests in its people more than any company I have ever been a part of. Training is an ongoing discipline at Gartner and our leaders are constantly open and grateful for feedback. Additionally, there are so many opportunities for career advancement. There is not just one path for you to progress through, there are many. The people Gartner and the culture it promotes are the unparalleled. Competition is encouraged but collaboration is an expectation.

Cons

The growth of the company is so rapid that there are times were I feel like I don't know half of the people in the office.
