Pros

work life balance is great. super people. I think that hte opportunity to be part of hte largest IT consulting firm add a lot to my credentials. We are a global company and I think that also adds value and respect. We are diversified and treat everyone quite fairly, without regard to race, gender, etc. I really like working with senior clients. It is exposure you can ont get many other places

Cons

can be too theroetical. Otherwise, I thinkwe are a great, great company

Pros

Colleagues, the ability to interact with the best thinkers in IT and stay abreast of the latest trends. There is a growing focus on career development, training and progression. Salaries are competive and management looks to promote from within whenever possible. Current management has the company focusing on the right things as they navigate through very difficult economic times and spending on IT research/advice can been seen as discretionary. Overall, a great place to work, learn and build a strong network within IT.

Cons

Silos that exist between BUs. Can be too theoritical in the way they publish IT research and not as practical as clients need us to be.

Pros

Flexible hours. Opportunity to telecommute. People are fairly bright, multi-talented, come from varied backgrounds and are generally helpful.

Cons

Constant efforts to meet deadlines. Not having the most up-to-date computer equipment or software was a constant source of frustration. There seemed to be an expectation that each member of a team should have a complete skill set rather than having a team where skills are complementary and team members would cooperate on assignments. Sudden layoffs. People would just disappear without warning and first you would know of it was an undeliverable message after sending an e-mail.
