      Terrible work, Horrible Leadership

      1. This is not an analysis team. This is a reporting team.They lie in the job description as well as during the interviews. They will say that you will be doing business analysis and strategy planning, but all they make you do is cut copy paste in excel / refresh power BI dashboards manually/ change numbers in excel sheet manually every day. 2. The leadership is terrible. The middle managers as well as senior leaders. All managers in India care about is looking good in front of their leaders in US. They don't care about employees/ work life balance/ personal growth/ mental health / your interest. 3. And there are no promotions / merit increases. There is no promotion criteria. the only criteria is if you suck up to your managers, you will get promoted. If you raise your voice against all the wrongs in the team, you will never get promoted. 4. There is huge disparity between lateral hires (from IIT's) and the college hires from IIT (salary as well the way they are treated in the company). The IIT college hires are considered special in the team (they are given better projects), their salary is 1.5 times the salary of lateral hires. 5. There is no way you can give feedback to anyone. If you give true constructive negative feedback, it will come to bite you in the back during promotions/merit increase. They float our barometers where you can give feedback but none of the feedback is acted upon. And last but not the least, the work is TERRIBLE. These are the things you'll do in this team: 1. VLOOKUP in multiple excels 2. Manual adjustments of numbers in excel sheets 3. Refresh dashboards by clicking a button 4. Struggle for finding the right data 5. Prepare same PPT every month (which has 20-50 slides) with different numbers but you have to prepare them manually because there is no automation. And then changing the numbers in those slides as per the leaders whims. 6. All the good analysis projects are given to other teams because senior leaders don't much care about this team and middle managers are much too busy in flattering them.

      Worst Form of Top down Mismanagement

      Competitive Pay Work-life balance (unless you are part of Service Advisors) Associates who visited Gartner US/Egham say the culture is really good there

      Cons

      Where should I begin: They hire from the top B-schools of India and make them do BPO work Middle mgmt. is the weakest key in the hierarchy with maximum bureaucracy Mgrs act as POSTMAN with a LOUDSPEAKER, zero thinking on the feet, No Pros/Cons analysis, Reasoning from BAs is highly discouraged Fake team-building exercise (Photo Ops to show to US masters) A manager can easily stall internal switch citing critical dependency on a resource Job security only if you can suck up really well and keep logic to the side

      The only good thing is compensation.

      Cons

      1) A huge gap between the Job Description and actual job profile. 2) Leaders are keen to hire graduates from IITs and IIMs but do not have profiles that are on par with there experience and knowledge. This is one of the reasons for the high attrition rate. 3) No perks are other than cab facility. Leaders keep on telling that company is going through a cost optimization journey which is why there will no parties no Diwali gifts. 4) Leaders do not have any vision and do not care much about the employee's career goal or path
