Pros

The people at Glassdoor were the true differentiator. I had the privilege of working alongside teammates who were not only talented, but generous with their time, always stepping in to help others succeed. That sense of camaraderie and support was a key reason so many of us stayed longterm.

Cons

Glassdoor used to be a powerhouse with a culture people were proud to be part of. After Recruit acquired it in 2020, they tried to keep the heart of it alive. But once the merge with Indeed took hold, that heart got ripped out. So many incredible salespeople and leaders who were the very ones who built this company, were cut loose. Let’s call it what it is: the end of an era.

Pros

Glassdoor was a unicorn. The people, the culture and the way they valued their team. I unfortunately was part of the recent layoff due to the reorganization and merger with Indeed. Otherwise I would have stayed forever. That’s how great it was.
