Pros

Amazing people for the most part. The work-life balance, benefits and autonomy were amazing.

Cons

Some people were overlooked, and some were overly celebrated. Shift in culture due to the economy and Recruit demands - as well as Indeeds' influence on the business

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. It’s great to hear that you’ve experienced the strong community, balance, and flexibility that have always been central to Glassdoor’s culture. We know the past couple of years have brought meaningful change — both in the broader economy and through our closer alignment with Indeed and Recruit Holdings. With that has come an evolution in how we operate, but our focus remains the same: creating a workplace that values trust, belonging, and impact, where great people can do their best work. I appreciate your perspective and your continued contributions to making Glassdoor a place people are proud to be part of. - Owen Humphries | President, Glassdoor

Pros

Glassdoor was a great place to work, but leadership made poor decisions around the direction of the products.

Cons

Product didn't evolve at all in 12-13 years. Execs made one big bet and it failed miserably. Simple as that.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. It’s true that parts of our product evolution haven’t always moved as quickly as we would’ve liked or had the impact we wanted. But we try to learn from those moments. Today, our product roadmap is focused on transforming Glassdoor into an AI powered recruiter and coach that will provide company and career insights, advice from real users and connect your with relevant companies and jobs. - Andy Chen | SVP, Product, Glassdoor
