Pros

* I've had a wonderful time over the years working at Glassdoor and continue to be excited about what we do. It's not a company that sits on its laurels. We are trying to reinvent ourselves as a workplace community and while it's challenging, it makes work fun and meaningful. * While it takes some getting use to, I ultimately love the flexibility of working from home. Glassdoor is all in on being a remote company. * Probably the best part of Glassdoor is its culture and people. It's impressive how good this company is at continuing to attract great people who truly care and work collaboratively with each other.

Cons

*Glassdoor isn't a place that is slow and steady. There are ups and there are downs. In the last 5 years we've had 2 rounds of layoffs. *Work has also become more complicated by having to partner with Indeed. *While I love the flexibility of working from home, I do miss the energy of working with other people in an office. Remote is not for everyone.

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your experience at Glassdoor! So much of what you described resonates with me, and is the reason I'm still here after almost 8 years as well - the potential to do meaningful and transformational work alongside a great group of people. I agree that a lot has changed over the last 5 years, and continues to change as we seek to transform ourselves into a worklife community. Like you I miss elements of in-person work, but I'm glad to hear that the flexibility of remote is working well for you. Thanks again - for your review and for all you do for Glassdoor. - Owen Humphries, Chief Operating Officer

Pros

The benefits are really great and the company has potential.

Cons

The pay doesn’t match the amount of work, forced to do “props trains”, passive aggressive management, no room for growth and no plan in place to improve there, and lastly, the commitment to DEI is all rhetoric.
