Pros

Culture and work life balance

Cons

Won’t get the typical total comp or upside compared to other tech companies but other tangibles make up for it.

Pros

As you can imagine, the culture at Glassdoor is AMAZING! They do a really good job of hiring the right people, so everyone that works here is a great addition to the team, at all levels. It can be a challenging role, however I always feel I have the best support system when needed. Everyone that works here is treated like an adult, with no micro management, no big KPI's etc. You are trusted to do your job and encouraged to perform well. The commission is structured very well, with all employees earning a healthy salary each month / quarter. Both the teams in EMEA and US are extremely diverse, with a transparent roadmap of where the company wants to be moving forward. I love working at Glassdoor!

Cons

Being partnered with Indeed, I think the CRM's need to be integrated to make our jobs a lot easier and smoother. other than that, I have no cons of working here.

Thank you for such a thoughtful and energetic response! We are thrilled to have you a part of our team. One thing I've always been so proud of at Glassdoor is our ability to grow and succeed by trusting our teams to focus on the right things. In a fast-paced world, it can be easy to get distracted or lose sight of what's ahead of us, but our GTM organization continues to lean in and produce incredible work. When it comes to the partnership with Indeed, we certainly hear you and know that simplifying our work streams and adapting our working relationship through technology is top of mind. Trust me, I'd love it as much as anyone! With that said, these things take time and need to be done thoughtfully and methodically-- otherwise we'll go right back to square one! Thanks again for being such a valued member of our team. I can't wait to see what you'll continue to accomplish! - Brett Runyan, VP of Go-To-Market

Thank you for taking the time and for sharing your perspective as a member of the Finance team at Glassdoor! We work hard to create a fun, productive, and collaborative culture on the Finance Team to empower the business to achieve its mission. And we will continue to approach our work as transparently as possible and communicate business performance, risk, and opportunities. Finally, I think what you share about concerns is spot on. We’re in a critical stage where all attention is on balancing our resources in times where the economic outlooks are less certain. Our goal in Finance is to make sure we responsibly manage our day-to-day business and allocate enough resources to new products so the big bets will eventually pay off. I’m happy you are part of the journey to get us there! Mirko Hallenberger, Sr. Director, Finance Planning & Analysis
