Pros

I've been working at Global Blue for over 7 years, and it’s been an incredible journey. During this time, I’ve had the chance to move to two different countries, and I’ve been promoted several times. The company offers fantastic opportunities for career development, and the culture here is truly something special. Something truly life-changing is the hybrid working, What stands out the most are the people. From day one, I’ve been surrounded by talented, supportive, and inspiring colleagues who make the workplace a positive and motivating environment. Global Blue fosters a collaborative culture that encourages innovation, teamwork, and personal growth. If you're looking for a place where you can build a long-term career while being part of a fantastic team, I highly recommend Global Blue!

Cons

While Global Blue offers great opportunities for growth, benefits can vary depending on the country you're in. It would be great to see more consistency in benefits packages across regions.

Pros

Working at Global Blue has been a refreshing experience that blends fintech innovation with a human touch. As someone who has spent time in this MNC, I can honestly say that the perks and benefits of being part of this team go beyond the usual offerings and truly foster a sense of community and well-being. One of the standout aspects of working at Global Blue is the flexibility it provides. The company understands that life isn't just about work, and they offer flexible working hours and remote work options. This allows employees to maintain a healthy work-life balance, which is particularly valuable in today's fast-paced world. I’ve found that being trusted to manage my own schedule has made me more productive and engaged in my work. In addition to flexibility, Global Blue places a strong emphasis on professional development. They offer numerous training programs and workshops that not only enhance our skills but also encourage us to explore new areas of interest. The culture here promotes continuous learning, which is something I really appreciate as someone who always wants to grow. Another highlight is the collaborative environment. Colleagues are genuinely supportive, fostering a culture where sharing ideas and helping each other is the norm. There’s a strong sense of camaraderie, making it easy to connect with colleagues across different departments. The diverse team also brings a wealth of perspectives that enrich our projects and decision-making processes. Health and wellness are taken seriously at Global Blue. The company provides comprehensive health insurance and wellness programs that include everything from gym memberships to mental health support. It’s reassuring to know that the company cares for our overall well-being, not just our performance metrics. Lastly, I must mention the company’s commitment to social responsibility. Global Blue actively engages in initiatives that give back to the community. It's invigorating to work for a company that not only talks the talk but also walks the walk when it comes to making a positive impact. In summary, my experience at Global Blue has been marked by exceptional perks that prioritize employee well-being, development, and community engagement. For anyone considering a role here, you can expect a workplace that truly values its people and fosters a thriving environment for both personal and professional growth.

Cons

My experience with APAC HR has been frustrating. While I appreciate the company’s goals and values, the HR practices often feel incompatible with the company's values. Outdated Practices The HR processes here come off as quite old school. There seems to be a reluctance to adapt to newer, more flexible approaches that many companies are embracing today. This makes it challenging for employees who want to bring fresh ideas to the table. Narrow-Minded Approach I’ve also encountered a narrow-minded perspective when it comes to addressing issues. Instead of fostering an open dialogue, there’s a tendency to focus on pinpointing mistakes. This can create an environment where employees feel hesitant to voice their thoughts or ask questions, fearing they’ll be met with criticism instead of support. Reactivity and Unprofessionalism Another significant concern has been the overreactions to minor issues. It often feels like the HR team jumps to conclusions without fully understanding the context, which can come across as unprofessional. This abruptness, coupled with occasional rudeness, makes it difficult to approach HR with concerns or suggestions.
