Pros

Excellent employee benefits and competitive salary (usually the top of the market) Lots of opportunity for professional growth and internal mobility Perks are fantastic (free food, onsite gym, shuttle service, etc.)

Cons

I'm sure you've read all the great things about working at Google, such as the obvious like perks and salary. But do your due diligence when going through the interview process to get a feel for your team and manager. Ultimately, that is what is going to shape your day to day experience at the company. I ultimately left after a bad re-org that left me doing the work of 4-5 people by myself that was outside the scope of my level, yet I wasn't promoted when I brought it up to my manager.
