Pros

Physiological safety and culture exceeds that of any other large tech company that I’m aware of. There is outstanding support and opportunities in career development.

Cons

Bureaucracy has grown to be a larger hurdle in taking risks that won’t negatively impact your long-term performance goals.

Pros

Still retains a lot of great people Lots of scale Decent dev tooling Pays well at the higher levels

Cons

Layoffs were completely botched Company is way too large, needs to be split up more Lots of senior engineers leaving Entire company is built on growth, adjusting to a no-growth scenario is going to be jarring the next couple years.

Pros

reliable work with good benefits and salary good infrastructure and support for employee needs such as relocating, commuting and remote work

Cons

internal technology ecosystem that's largely separate from the outside world a lot of reinventing the wheel, between teams and company wide long (3-9 months) self-driven ramp up period, partly because of the above
