Pros

You can grow very quickly if you are motivated to do so. They are very good at promoting from within.

Cons

Standard retail hours - no telling how late you will be there. Schedule can be extremely varied, but what can I say, I'm tired of retail.

A backwards career move...

Pros

Pay is good, Store level staff are fun, Company is growing fast in US, good vacation allowance

Cons

Poor growth opportunities unless at low store level, Ridiculously long hours re-doing the same things over and over again because District/Regional management can't communicate between themselves. Very poor Work Life Balance, Poor benefits despite being brainwashed by corporate info saying otherwise (most people working for H&M have this as thier first job, or have worked for similar "fashion" retailer), Too much Corporate BS and brainwashing messaging...
