My time starting out with H&M was great. Then through the yrs it became a downhill spiral. H&M lost its structure a lot.

Pros

The benefits are good, once your in full time. The fashion is really great also. The music can be really good to work to also. Also the flat level organization.

Cons

Some growth in the company is based on favoritism. And also some stability with the company is based on favoritism. The goals have become ridiculously impossible in the middle of a recession. A lot of responsibility is put on sales associates, due to lack of responsibility either from management or visual merchandisers.

NEVER enough people working You will be stuck with too much work/complaining customers Management isn't usually very educated therefore feels like high school Favoritism Unprofessionalism One may never know what is going on Everything is hush-hush when it comes to promotions Try to advocate "promoting" people, but rarely happens Will be promised things that will never happen
