Pros

They have newer and larger offices than other retail banks.

Cons

Extra long hours, but no overtime pay. There's no technical support based in North America, and their platform is always crashing. You have to to go work assuming that at some point during the day, you will not have access to your computer. They're not well established and simple things that would take BMO or TD a couple of days to process (PLOC, mortgage, credit card, etc.), take HSBC weeks. You can't even transfer registered plans without causing the system and your managers a spasm.
