Pros

You get a free HSBC branded Octopus card every year.

Cons

Long hours, under paid, technology that should be placed in a museum, snakes ready to take the credit for your work.

Pros

Meet some great people, can be fun if working in a branch with fun people. have met colleagues that I am glad to have met and will know them for years to come. training is good Hard work is recognised and appreciated

Cons

Too many jobs-worth's who are upset with their lives/careers and so they will do anything to discredit someone who is young, intelligent and doing well. They will act nice to your face and then stab you in the back. Nonsensical and ambiguous rules concerning employee behavior . Managers will pick and choose who they like. Those that are favoured will be allowed to misbehave without consequence. You can get comfortable because the job is easy and you enjoy the atmosphere and time spent with colleagues and therefore you will not be as motivated to move on in your career They will move you to another branch whenever they like without taking your feelings into consideration. You are just a number to them: disposable; replaceable . Pay and bonuses are awful
