Pros

A multi national bank with good facility, high pay, employee engagement programs, great vision and mission, great sessions like At our best, for personality development

Cons

but really loot of employee patient level. The senior the management is, the unprofessional they get. My manager was never a guy who thought for employee , even not for retention. It's will every manager. No one takes up responsibility , no one is open dependable or connected which are the vision of HSBC. Ownership is not into this work enviournment. Once you step into the office, you will start regretting from the first day to the last day

Pros

Great people and great work environment. Management really recognize people's contribution and value. Very flexible hours and management respect others' personal life

Cons

The whole banking industry is facing some hard time. As the low rates environment and strict regulation are pushing banks too much.

Pros

Good work life balance, generally you are encouraged to take vacations and recharge yourself. Weekend working is also discouraged. They have employee friendly policies like 6 months of maternity leave. The work is good depending on the team you join. There are options to move around to other teams. Hikes and bonuses are pretty good.

Cons

Global Service Centres have poor infrastructure and local site leaders may try to sabotage the corporation's employee friendly policies. Growth may be too slow in many teams. Communication is not the strong point of senior management.
