Pros

Coworkers are pleasant and helpful with a strong supportive atmosphere. The bank offers many staff benefits and taking full advantage of them can be lucrative.

Cons

The bank has a policy of only replacing or upgrading technology when it fails unexpectedly. They don't plan for it and don't provide preventative upgrades. When something stops working it leads to prolonged, days or weeks long outages. Getting something fixed is done through a labyrinthine system of helpdesk tickets passed through a hopelessly idiotic system of first level technicians incapable of resolving or even understanding the most basic of issues. They often pass along tickets to the wrong department. Recently a productivity monitoring program was introduced, however it is self reported. Poor workers submit dishonest information which inflates their figures while honest employees are penalized on their performance ratings. There has been a severe drop in morale and a high employee turnover amongst senior team members.
