Pros

Great colleagues who take the time to train you and to assist you with your job duties. Very knowledgeable senior managers with strong background in the industry. Good number of vacation days. Potentially strong bonus/incentive system. Well respected company with a strong credit culture.

Cons

Poor leadership. Very manual processes. Slow career advancement. Below average base salary compensation. Cheap/frugal culture even for a bank. Pay-for-performance culture is unevenly applied with a tendency to reward mediocrity. While the organization is the largest global bank in the market, there are still very limited opportunities to work in another country within the Group, except at the highest levels.

Pros

HFC/Beneficial: Challenging, fast pace work environment. Stable job with good benefits.

Cons

Their products are going downhill, they charge more for the same thing that a custmer could get elsewhere. The pay structure is not fair to the sales personnel. Also, it is a large company and you are nothing more than a number.

Pros

None. Some of the people I started with have been lovely, but several have already left (in a matter of weeks) due to being bullied and discriminated against.

Cons

Bullying environment; they are constantly hiring because of the turnover. Have had several colleagues leave after only three weeks due to the bullying and awful behaviour from managers. You are told you will be trained for 15 weeks… you are taught essentially nothing- and put on phones alone after only four weeks. The trainers waste time and don’t actually teach you how to use the systems you will need. They just give you a link and expect you to magically know how to do it. They’ll literally walk out of the class and take personal calls and then you’ll get told off for being nervous about going on the phones despite having been taught nothing. They are extremely discriminatory of chronic health issues and neurodivergence, despite their claims to the contrary. The managers go round accusing people of having UTI’s if they take more than a couple of minutes going to the bathroom (it takes that long to walk there.) This place is toxic- AVOID!
