Pros

Ok start for moving to other areas of banking or other finance companies l.

Cons

Serious pushing of sales targets despite FCA against this. Have seen managers force customers to get a credit card even if they shouldn’t have one. Pressure to get 10/10 surveys despite negative ones stating things outside our control like branch closures… yet still getting harassed by managers for getting a bad survey. Mystery shops putting pressure on staff making them feel shamed in front of whole area if the score isn’t 100 percent. Short staffed and never seem to look at replacing staff that they know are leaving soon… have to wait till they’ve given their notice or retired before starting the hiring process for new staff which takes 3-6 months. Overall negative mood in branches. Moving to other areas of business only good if willing to travel to London, Leeds or Birmingham. Do not apply if not near those areas or not willing to sacrifice the salary to commute.
