Bias At Our Best Recognition

Pros

Hybrid working, good company culture overall. Good benefits package for family persons but for single ones, not good.

Cons

Was working for my Team for about 2 years and 10 months. The transition on my Team is fast. And so far, at the time, I'm the one who had the longest stay in my Team. HSBC has this At Our Best recognition where you can give points to someone. My Team have this initiative that's been going on for about a year. Recently, 2 people from another Team was helping because of too much workload and lack of FTE in my Team (my teammates resigned). For a while, I was the sole investigator they have for my Team. Then 2 new teammates came in. By end of the year, everyone of them (2 people who helped and 2 new joiners) were given recognition by our CEO for a task that were doing, even before they came to the Team, except me. No recognition for me. That is a rare opportunity to be recognized by the CEO. Those points are non-expiry and can be used even after resignation. I've been working diligently all throughout, I was the one who's been there for the Team the whole time so it gave me a sour feeling that my efforts were not recognized.
