Toxic, Bullying Environment in Hong Kong

It's a job. Food in canteen is cheap. Some nice people work there for awhile....

Cons

Company has a tradition of promoting and encouraging bullies who don't know what they're doing / want. Very many qualified and experienced professionals find it an impossible workplace. Terrible hours. Offices are old and dirty, or ridiculously tight (at / possibly breaking fire code for capacity?) and distracting open concept. Low pay with career progression mostly for "chosen/protected" ones. You can live without them on your CV. Go somewhere else!

Great opportunity to try new and exciting things due to their bredth of activities. I was provided with a number of opportuities and fully supported in my activities. Very flexible workplace.

Cons

Large organisation can lead to bureaucracy and slowness to decision making. Navigating the bureaucracy was difficult and took a lot of the time in the day up.
