Pros

HSBC has good medical benefits, covered by ING. I also happpened to have one of the best contact centre manager in my department, a young person who is able to inspire the all team members, open to ideas and still able to be a good leader.

Cons

Their salary both basic and allowances are low compared to what is being offered in the market. They are not able to retain their staff hence burdens the current employees with an overload of work. This is especially true in contact centres, it creates a very stressfull working environment. And do keep in mind there are a huge number of people who work in the night shift, which changes a lot if things in their lifes, they need to be compansation for that. HSBC also has the policy of hiring college graduates with degrees and school leavers for the same position and offer them the same salary, regardless if their academic qualifications. It creates an unease among co workers, and as a result they tend to leave the company.
