Pros

Every business area has its own culture. Can network and move around to other business areas. Good benefits and vacation.

Cons

Old and inefficient processes and systems. Within the New York Private Bank, only business areas which make the most money and leaders who make the most noise and fuss get their way. Not enough emphasis on sales and bringing in business. The Miami Private Bank has better leadership, is a great place to work and employees are happier.

Pros

Very large company. They closed the consumer lending division (they had the most jobs, but worste treatment). If you have an advanced degree, you can go far.

Cons

If you have a four year degree and experience, you will still be low-balled in pay. There aren't too many openings for US jobs.

Pros

Their pay for performance structure does reward the top performing employees. There are a lot of opportunities to post for other positions. Opportunity to advance if you are liked.

Cons

Coaching and on-the-job training are lacking Favoritism is apparent, especially in promotions Performance goals led to micro-managing, with monthly meetings about performance which can start to get redundant Lot of turnover in management which changes goals often
