      Used to be known for good work life balance. In some pockets having very dependable managers.

      Cons

      Getting infested with lots of politics with new management hires. Replacing low wage workers with high wage workers due to nepotism.

      I'm an ex-HSBC employee from 1998 to 2007. The good thing about the company is the many opportunities available for their employees to grow into.

      Cons

      With any bank pay wasn't as competitive as some of the other industries.
