      Cons

      I was desperately underpaid at this company based on my length of service (5 1/2 years) and experience and contributions to the company. Company pays lip service to employee focus but does more for the community and shareholder than anything else, Training way behind the eight ball in quality. Outsources technical support to Mexico and Africa.

      Pros

      • The company or rather the managers (at least those I've worked with) do care about you • No micro-manage or crazy app monitoring you (working remotely) • Always checking in on you and your workload to ensure you are not overwhelmed • Lots of thumbs-up and assistance along the way to help you • Every team member I met spoke very highly and fondly of Henry Schein • There’re opportunities to move around the company (met many team members who came from completely different departments [ie. Sales to IT]) • Warm and positive environment (people I’ve met just love their work) • Majority of the people have been around for a very long time but they care and look out for new folks • The company actually advocates for DE&I not just claiming they do • Henry Schein gives back to the community and encourages the team to participate

      Cons

      No downside thus far working at Henry Schein though the benefits could be better. • Medical package wasn't as great compared to some other companies I've been with • There is a long vesting time period for 401k but it's a great company to stick around. • Because the majority of people have been around for a long time, some things aren’t easily changed (not bad just challenging)
