      Pros

      This company cares about it's people, it's impact on the community and world as a whole. It's very apparent from day 1 and being one of the world's most ethical companies really means something - which is refreshing and a delight. The CEO sent me a "welcome" note on my first day - unbelievable for a Fortune 300 company and world-wide traveler. Morale is great, everyone is willing to help out and be a team. Customers really appreciate HSI and want to do business with us - suppliers say it's a pleasure doing business with HSI. All around this is an excellent company and great time to be here.

      Cons

      Compared to some other places I've worked HSI does not employ the latest and greatest technology for general office use, however they are working to change that.

      Good benefits package, nice offices

      Cons

      Horrible place for promotions or career growth if you aren't in New York. Lack of candor regarding potential bonuses and salary increases, not only in Legal, but in Sales, Compliance, and Finance too. I would not recommend working here unless you are desperate.
