Pros

I got a 20% discount on clothing, and got to help customers, and usually satisfy them. I also learned how to fold extremely well.

Cons

The dress code was extremely strict, the managers were incompetent, there were no breaks, and I was given a few hours a week, say 6 if I was lucky.

Good training on management styles, taught good techniques for folding, great interactions with customers, decent benefits package including dental, medical and 401K (after a year)

Cons

The company is too rigid, they offer no opportunities for creativity. They are understaffed and are more interested in the presentation of the stores rather than their employees. Training was detailed, but there was little time to review anything because the turnover of management is so high there was rarely someone there to train another manager, resulting in management being over worked and under paid. When working over 40 hrs. they reduce your hourly rate to HALF of what you make, where most places offer time and half for over-time Hollister can't even give you your normal salary, so you are making LESS than minimum wage.
