Too much politics going on. Local employees are treated differently from those expats, who are considered as the loyal ones.

- Chinese management all over the place. These guys, don't know the market, they don't even know about professional sales management. The only thing they repeat like a parrot: "Where's the PO?" - Management doesn't want you to talk in your local language because they don't understand what you're saying. But they speak Chinese all the time. - Chinese management is rude. They're even more rude to Chinese employees. - Chinese management is incompetent according to local standards and isn't adding any value. They're just there to control and to put pressure. - The only thing Chinese management is looking after is to maintain a positive perception towards their upper management and HQ. If they don't they get punished and sent back to China. - They're not taking advantage of your experience, they just want to make use of your professional network. Instead of learning from you, they stick to their way of working and want to turn you into a Chinese robot that obeys blindly. There is no room for constructive feedback. - Once they sucked all knowledge and energy out of you, they just dump you. - They're not interested in any form of people management.
