1. Need network to grow in this company, Even though you are ready to work, there won't be chance,until unless there is a strong recommendation. 2. No Hikes. Hikes are like blue moon( this also depends on Manager) not the hardworking or smart working. manager should trust.

401k matched contribution after 2 years...extra week of vacation time after 2 years...that's it...o, infrequent raises (bi-yearly at most) that are below the inflation rate.

Cons

low pay, lack of transparency and trust in management; random firings and lay offs. If you can't find any of the few projects available, good luck staying employed because you will be thoroughly kicked to the curb. IBM Baton Rouge CIC is essentially a glorified call center. Hush hush atmosphere promoted by management. They'll tell you some of what you need to know and plenty of what you don't. Same goes for the training...pshh...training.
