Once the project is done, you'll be assigned to bench. If you are not assigned in the project within 3-6 months. You'll be a candidate for redundancy regardless of your tenure.

Pros

IBM offers training which you would be hard pressed to find anywhere else. They will pay for as many certifications as you have the ability and desire to learn. The people are kind and it is an environment where mistakes are seen as a gateway to knowledge. Great benefits.

Cons

Cons, would be lower than average pay for the field. But, they offer you many career boosting benefits so it's worth the lower pay for a few years if you can afford it.
