Pros
Old company tag which can be recognised. After Covid it's loosing it's legacy of better work place. Flexible timing but it depends on client you are working with.
Cons
1. Too much micro management in almost every project after covid. 2. Upper management don't appreciate juniors and never want them to get promoted. 3. Almost all the projects are of short term, migration or maintenance so nothing to learn. 4. You have to work under idiots like functional manager/ Scrum master and they don't know anything technical. 5. No salary hike no promotion 6. If you are on bench anytime you can be terminated in just one call with wfm and hr. 7. Ibm does not have good projects this time in India. Join only if you don't have any other option. 8. They push for certification but you won't get chance to hands-on as they don't have project. it's only for showcase. 9. Even if you are on project they can release you just within a week no prior notice. 10. Keep IBM as last option because they don't have quality work which can boost your career, micro management, old projects of mostly migration work which is very frustrating and no learning.
