Pros

Many really intelligent people work at IBM. High innovation and strong teamwork come naturally to anyone who focuses on their work and cares about the product(s) being developed. IBM is very serious about work/life balance.

Cons

IBM claims to "pay for performance" and they do. However, the differentiation on pay is not as strong as I would logically expect.

Pros

We get both chilled and heated water for free. That's it.

Cons

In the summer of 2011 a decree was laid down that we all needed to be 'in the office 5 days a week'. I've been a top performer for 10 years and this came down even thought my manager and second line manager didn't agree. Morale is very low.
