IBM has a lot of capabilities in terms of technology and consulting to solve our clients' critical problems. This sets IBM apart from other companies.

Cons

In my opinion IBM needs to strengthen its consulting capabilities. In Comparison to competitors such as Accenture, IBM is strong in system construction, but it has not been able to make the most of its strength in consulting.

The welcome, the talent and support network on arrival to help you feel comfortable and get up to speed is incredible. The assets, offerings, artefacts, capability and happy referencable customers in all areas of the portfolio re-enforce the quality, size and scale of IBM in a very short space of time. The strategy is clear and concise, relevant to the market and moving in the right direction. This journey and this bus is where i want to be!

Cons

Its large, its complex as is any other major SI, so it is imperative to build your network quickly and retain focused on your role or you can be consumed by the machine
