Losing hope

Pros

Many opportunities to learn new things.

Cons

Co-location for marketing has resulted in the loss of many good employees; limited opportunity for advancement; wheels turn slowly. "Resource Actions" come out of the blue and give long-standing employees very little severance - this makes current employees feel more like cogs on wheels than humans.

Pros

IBM is on the verge of becoming the premier cognitive and cloud enterprise, with the ability to provide a wide variety of services to help solve clients' business problems. As an employee, the opportunities to move around to so many different areas make it easy to see myself here for a long time.

Cons

While I would like to see an improvement in the quarterly financials, I have strong faith that it will be turned around soon
