Pros

flexible work schedule. work with great people. great place for someone first getting in to IT.

Cons

It can get stressful, especially when you are left to deal with the customer, when it is supposed to be the job of the account team. They hire anyone who has touched a computer. I have been with IBM for 2 years. never saw a promotion, can't apply for other jobs in IBM because I'm a critical player in my team, but people who have to come to me for help on a constant basis are favored for promotions. for a company that thrives off of innovation, whenever I innovated something, it took a long time, and a lot of reaching out to dead ends to bring my ideas and innovations to life. it is defiantly a company that looks better from the outside, than it does from the inside.
