Pros

Great ability to balance life and work. Lots of smart people to work with. The company is more innovative in its marketing approach than it's been!

Cons

The working from home environment keeps employees working in silos, not fully engaged. They need better pay for performance. Lots of great talent is wasted on process.

Pros

Surrounded by the best and the brightest. Good place to be early in career, to learn and develop technical and management skills.

Cons

Unless you are on fast track or have reached VP level, plus have strong support at very senior executive level, you are an expendable foot soldier no matter how hard you work or how much you accomplish. IBM is a highly political, zero sum game. Is now, always has been. Plus, today there are far fewer opportunities for advancement.
