Do they really care though?

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

They have free online courses.

Cons

Not a lot of possibilities of promotion Under staffed, over worked Pay does not keep up with inflation; little to no yearly increase. You have to write an essay defending and explaining as to why you deserve a yearly increase. Total bull. Basically forcing you to flaunt and make your peers look weaker and less deserving than you do. Not a lot of possibilities to get bonuses either. Work load and scope of work increases, but they don't pay you for the extra load they make you carry. Management does not seem to care for their employees and their welfare, it's all about giving the best smooches to the clients' ahem. They have a very low ceiling for salaries. Management likes it toxic but they also like to keep it low-key.

Pros

Flexible working time but that's about it.

Cons

- Boring and monotone - Little to no chance of promotion - Managers dismiss people who are not enthusiastic enough - Employees have to be excited and enthusiastic about the smallest, tedious tasks - Employees don't really get an overview about the company or other departments. - Company policies and processes change often and no one bothers to communicate them

Pros

Most of the people I work with are wonderful. Ability to work from home is nice.

Cons

As a contractor you are treated as a second-class employee. We receive very few benefits - my agency does not provide vacation or paid holidays. We have little to no input on where or for whom you will work, will be moved from one group to another without consult or warning, and can be let go after years of employ with no explanation. You have absolutely no say in the direction of your career, and attempts to move upward or into a new position are thwarted.
