Pros

Large company with the appearance of a lot of opportunities. Access to an almost unlimited amount of information and global co-workers. The corporation has positioned itself as a good stepping stone to a career with other companies. It may still look good on your resume.

Cons

The constant shuffle of strategy, partially built internal and external tools, lack of consistent funding, and intense amount of daily required legality overhead makes being an employee generally undesirable. The frequent and continual layoff of U.S. employees in order to satisfy the executive mandates of deep and critical cost cutting have forced a massive decline in decent paying US opportunities. Requirements for salaried employees to donate significant amounts of weekly hours provides for challenging work-life balance. Pay rates which usually due not keep up with inflation, and the large reduction in benefits also do not provide much appeal.
