      Pros

      Big name, lots of room to hide if you do not really want to work and drive results.

      Cons

      Lots of room to hide. Plenty of "empty boxes". The GM and her club of ex-Philips people inherited a mess but did nothing to improve Watson Health. In fact, the culture is toxic. The technology does not work. Watson Health has been the kiss of death for many people including former PwC folks who came over from GBS, the old "bleed blue" boys clubs, and a few rounds of hi-po talent recruited right out of school.

      Where do I start? The people in "management" are completely incompetent. It is no structure here whatsoever. The lower level employees do all of the work while they reap the benefits. This isn't a real IBM center, its an affiliate of IBM but they lie on the application to draw good people in.

      It’s a job and you get paid, even though it’s about half of what you’re worth.

      Cons

      I don’t know where to begin. There are very few people who enjoy working out of Keyser, WV. Management doesn’t value developers- you’re basically a code monkey with zero room for growth, while getting less benefits than the staffing folks or the people with jobs far easier than development work. It’s really backwards and kind of shows problems at the company level. Giving worse benefits to the people making your products really isn’t the right move.
