      Pros

      IBM is a strong IT Company with a wide portfolio of hardware and software services. What is exciting is that IBM is now focusing on cognitive , advanced analytics and cloud computing. It offers good opportunity to fresh engineering graduates as they travel their journey in digital world.

      Cons

      As I am only at the expression of interest stage, it is premature for me to comment on the cons.

      Pros

      Good people and decent benefits. If you're fortunate to be in one of the Watson areas, then you may have a future,f or at least awhile.

      Cons

      Layoffs galore, need I say more? IBM is not the company it used to be, even 10 years ago. No one in the GTS org is safe.

      Pros

      -Decent benefits -Decent travel booking and expense reimbursement system -Good database of assets over years of employee contribution of training, presentation decks, deliverables, etc.

      Cons

      -16+ straight quarters of declining revenue under our joke of a CEO...leading to consistent quarterly mass-layoffs in the US, Canada, and Europe. Unless you work in Costa Rica or India, don't bother working for big blue! -Too many layers of nonsense in the organizational structure between the CEO and day-to-day workers. -Changing business strategy and processes...leading to mass confusion as an employee -Too political of an environment -High turnover (mostly due to mass RA's (i.e. resource actions.....LAYOFFS) -401k match does not happen until the end of the year (lump sum)
