Pros

Ability to work from Home or wherever. Interaction with smart people on a daily basis. Always learning. You are solely judged on what you produce, not how much face time you put in.

Cons

Ability to work from Home or wherever. Getting your name out there in a company of 300,000 employees. It's not easy to see Global resourcing all around you.

Pros

Good mark on your CV for future reference ; work with talented people there as they can always attract new bright young things, and some experienced professionals are very good

Cons

Just about everything else : the Performance Management culture makes people compete and there's a "fend for yourself" culture, really discourages co-operation ; also senior mgmt attititudes and communications are aggressive or vaigue ; and finally it can be VERY internally focused with sub-divisions and divisions and departments taking stances or war !
