      Loosen up and bring a sense of continuity to the business

      Pros

      Alot of opportunity, depending on your skills and when you joined the company.

      Cons

      Very rigid business structures and "silos" of protected information or protected areas. You almost get a sense that folks are only willing to go so far in helping you out. This is all wrapped around a generally feeling of self preservation at the expense of others because each year end the "axe" (job layoffs) are falling somewhere in the company.

      access to training, resources, varied assignments, you get to experience working for clients across a lot of different industries.

      Cons

      too much administrivia, PBC (personal business commitments) process of doubtful value.

      Work if you can put up with the management BS

      Pros

      Good Pay, some flexibility... really depends if you work in Hardware or Software. Payscale is good compared to other companies at least in Austin

      Cons

      off shoring, complex management system. Likes to make everything single thing way too complicated. Management does not value employee loyalty and experience... if they don't need you, then you are out. management keeps changing often. Its hard to focus when you management keeps on re organizing every 4 - 6 months. By the time you get comfortable working with one manager, you have another manager and his style to adapt to. Employee morale is also low because of this.
