Pros

There are many good things to work here. I love the work life balance. There there is big scope to redifine ourselves in the ladder.

Cons

Less salaries when compared to the market. and we need to understand the processes well to grow in the ladder.

Pros

Watson ( and Bluemix to an extent) will be a game changer for company over the next few years as the use cases for AI gets vindicated by small and medium sized companies all over. The Agile transformation over the past few years has definitely put IBM in a position where it can now compete with other nimble companies in a more lean manner. There is a a lot of opportunity for an employee to focus on learning and enhance their skill sets.

Cons

1. Compensation is paltry compared to other players in the market. 2. High probability of getting stuck with a manager who does not care for you or the company. 3. Even with a good manager and a stellar performance record, it is very difficult to get promotions these days. 4. Difficult to stay motivated because of all the above reasons - which lead to a not-so-fulfilling day @work.
